Friends

I thank you for according me the honour of serving our Association as the President.. It is indeed a unique privilege to head IRA and DRA at the same time. I deem this  responsibility  as a great opportunity to further the cause of our specialty. I am fortunate to have on board a team  that blends experience of the old hands with the exuberance of the newcomers. Together, we shall strive hard to carry the momentum initiated forwards.

I would like to place on record my deepest appreciation for the excellent work done by the outgoing team led by my distinguished colleague- Dr Ashok Kumar.

The Delhi Rheumatology Association is perhaps the most active of the State Chapters of IRA. The credit for this goes to the visionary leadership of my predecessors and the active contribution by  the entire membership. Our Updates have come to occupy a premier position in the academic calendar of CMEs. Our members continue to represent the country at various platforms with distinction. We have come a long way but, rest on our laurels, we must not!

I enjoin you to take a proactive part in your Association’s activities. We need your wisdom, experience and involvement so that, together, we can serve the cause of our profession and patients.
